APINKE’s two year celebration and awards night was held at the lavish Spring Hall, Atlanta. The event was graced with guests from Atlanta and around USA. The award recipients included: Korto Momolu (Fashion Designer) for ‘Excellence in Design’; Arik Air for ‘Best Community Brand’; Robert Peters for ‘ Exellence in Film’; Lady Kate Njeuma (Miss Africa USA Pageant) for ‘Community Empowerment’; Jewel Thompson (Former Miss Ghana USA) for ‘Young Community Star’; Titus Olowokere (ANOG USA) for ‘Community Leadership Excellence’ and Teresa Clarke (Africa.com) for ‘Ambassador for Africa’. The event attracted dignitaries, sponsors, partners, APINKE’s Avid supports. Scrumptious food by Prestige African cuisine, thirst quenching drinks, light hearted entertainment from: international Jazz artists – Abraham Ogunlade, comedian David Oke and MC, Taiwo Lawrence.
