Have you noticed that the use of weaves, extensions and wigs is at an all time high?
Even though some women with thin and scanty hair that just won’t grow would seem justified in using these items, it appears just about everyone is using them these days. Why is this so? Every woman has her perfect reason for wearing one.

A curious reporter walks into a very busy beauty salon in New York one Saturday Afternoon and questioned 20 women on what their various reasons for wearing a weave or wig were? The answers varied from “I just want my hair fuller”, “My hair is just too thin” ,“ I need something to cover up my edges”, “My hair is so straight and I prefer curly hair”, “ I have curly but prefer straight hair” “ My natural hair color is black but I prefer light brown”, “My hair is so hard to manage”, “I’m trying to grow out my hair”… huh!?

Whatever your reasons for wearing wigs or weaves are, do the world a favor – wear them well and follow these simple rules! Don’t have tracks showing; let your hair blend in well with the hair used for your weave and always use premium hair- it speaks volumes. As I always say, “ your weave should always outlast the sew-in not the other way round.”

If you can’t grow the kind of hair you want, buy it and remember when you buy it, you should be able to get your money’s worth; invest in good hair that can be used over and over again without the chance of matting up.
